A Tunisian delegation discussed boosting kendo in Tunisia and spreading the sport across Africa during a visit to the Tunisian Embassy in Japan.
Boosting kendo in Tunisia and fostering deeper collaboration with Japanese clubs to spread this sport throughout Africa were among the topics discussed at the Embassy with a Tunisian delegation led by Mr. Salah Hannachi, President of the Atlas Association, and Mr. Ahmed Nouisser, President of the Kendo League in Tunisia.
From 14 to 24 August 2025, AATUJA led a delegation to the TICAD Games in Yokohama: training camp, symposium and the launch of the Dojo project.
Tunis hosted the first edition of the Tunis International Kendo Open, bringing together kendoka from several countries under their national flags.
The association held a ceremony in honor of Mr. Pascal Livolsi for his contribution to kendo in Tunisia.
