On 25 October 2024, the Tunisian Kendo League received the Foreign Minister’s Commendation of Japan, presented by H.E. Ambassador Osuga in the presence of H.E. Mr Sadok Mourali, Minister of Youth and Sports.
The distinction recognises the League’s contribution to friendship between the people of Tunisia and Japan. Through the practice and teaching of kendo — an emblematic Japanese martial art — the League sustains a living cultural bridge between the two countries.
